I’ve been working on a deck for a workshop my partner and I are hosting next week. We’ll be leading 20 folks through the basics of collage.
I’ve put together a travel kit of tools and supplies to make this happen. The PowerPoint for the lecture portion of the evening is ready. I’ve made a link to it on the newly made resource page. More to come there as I find some time. I’m planning to put links for the items I regularly use and people or things I appreciate. Bring back the pre-algorithm internet.
Monday will be hoot. I’m super excited to share collage with the community. We’ve seen the echoes of our presence already among our new friends at the art center. So many have picked up collage. I’ve also been promoting ATCs lately… hopefully we can develop a fun trading culture.
It’s nice to make something creative tonight outside of the presentation. My partner is rounding third on another large painting as I’ve been working at the computer. It’s been a joy to watch her work. The confidence she’s been finding in her art lately is so good to see.
